I did not like the first part when the girls were in the woods dancing in the woods around the fire with the devil, I actually thought that was nonsense. I did not like how Abigail accused everyone else for her mistakes and problems. The only part I like is when Proctor confessed that he was guilty at the end when he was about to get hung for not confessing. I think he was the only honest person this movie. When Tituba really did see the devil they accused innocent people. The part when the girls were acting crazy to get attention was pretty funny, but other than that in my opinion the movie was dumb. I absolutely hated the end when John Prctor didn't confess to something he didn't do and was hung for it. When it was discovered these young girls lied because they were afraid of being punished. The reverend knew that they were lying because he was the man who seen them. Abigail and John has relation and it was how all the witchcraft began. John knew if he admitted to committing adultery his name would be ruined. His wife tried so hard to protect his name. But when those young ladies was called to court to say who they seen dancing with the devil John wife was named. He knew Abigail would do that and he tired stopping her. When innocent people were taken to jail and later hanged John knew it was time for some to be done. Marry Warren helped him at first and then she turned back to the younger girls. This ruined John and had him thrown in jail. Later his only option left was to give up the only thing left to him and that was his name.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04510558280383033816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1800494839848337685.post-44748145466954124942013-04-04T14:30:54.596-05:002013-04-04T14:30:54.596-05:00The movie version of the Crucible was totally diff...The movie version of the Crucible was totally different than what I expected it to be.
